Hi There

I added this on Blog Posts, but am now adding it here.  Just looking for some response and am new to the board.

I am new to this and have a 12 year old and his hair is rapidly leaving before our eyes.  A friend of mine sends her 12 year old to Colombia Presbyterian in NYC and the treatment there is shots every two weeks.  I am on the west coast and doctors advise every 4 weeks.  Does anyone have info about this? Her dr. claims the frequent shots can help shut down the immune reaction and actually help stop the loss as it is occurring.  She is quite a respected dermatologist and I dont know if I should be pushing for that too.

Thanks! Looking for any words of hope.
