I got this interesting email that was forwarded to me. Thought I would share it all with you. I personally havent tired it but sense its all natural I might give it a whirl. Just wanted to know if any of you have heard of this.

Hair Fall Solution
To strengthen hair make a paste of ground mustard seeds (black or yellow)and water and apply generously to the roots. Leave for a couple of hours, wash hair as usual. Do this once a week. The first time there will be a burning sensation, which is normal it will eventually go away. It is important to grind the seeds in a dry mill at home - do not use mustard powder. This is tried and tested. This remedy not only controls hair fall but also promotes new hair growth.

Lets see what happens ???!!!!

I suppose so...it says that it promotes new hair growth. As long as you are using mustard seeds and not prepared mustard. The one thing that has me not running to the store is the "burning sensation" I only stopped the injections since September and was a little surprised how long it took for the head to heal (the swelling and dimples)
Mustard aside, I NEVER got the swelling and dimples that everyone talks about with the steroid injections. And I got TONS of injections before throwing in the towel. Perhaps it is the technique used by the derm? I rarely had pain during the injections either.
As far as ground mustard seeds go, it sounds pretty far-fetched. I have also heard of vinegar applied to the scalp. The basis is probably the "irritant" factor, which possibly might stimulate the follicles. I doubt the burnings (if any at all) would be that bad, unless you had open sores on your scalp. But really, if these things actually worked, don't you think these methods would be widely publicized and promoted by medical professionals?
LOL , sorry didn't meant to laugh, but mustard. If burning occurs this is NOT good, that burning will give you more spots.I go to a natural dr. who told me to use rosemary oil at night, but it started burning and guess what? more spots :-(
This is an old remedy, just like the onion or other poultices. It's trying to redirect immune response to irritation elsewhere. Like everything else, limited results.
