Is it possible to have both alopecia areata and androgenetic alopecia?

I have alopecia areata for more than 30 years and lately been noticing some hair loss in the front part of the scalp where I still have some hair, like it's the beginning of male-pattern baldness. Is it possible to have both alopecia areata and androgenetic alopecia?

why would an autoimmune condition turn off a genetic condition.

I had alopecia areata as a 10 year old. Had natural receding hairline at 30. Now 16 years later a very receded hairline. I’m controlling the alopecia with xeljanz atm
