I was diagnosed with AA, but my spot eventually reached back to almost half of my head. So then I thought that maybe my AA turned into AT. But after my short time of regrowth this summer, my spots went back to AA~looking spots. I also lost my eyebrows early~on in Alopecia. Now, sort~of recently(maybe a month ago) I lost all of my eyelashes. I'm really confused. I don't know weither I have AA or AT or both.

Hi Kayden,

That sounds like me. It's common, too. I had patchy areas decades apart( one patch every 10 years) and then it looked diffusely thin winding up more like AU after a number of years, but the lashes still hang on and come and go. I can lose nearly all the lashes followed by regrowth, but nothing else regrows.

Many cases of "alopecia areata" go back and forth like that. Makes us special ;)
