i am doing DPCP treatment which is terrible. i am very allergic to it, and the reaction gets all over my body. i also ooze a lot after doing the treatment from itching it, and i cannot help the itching.

so, is it possible to scratch away new hairs coming in? i recently just shaved my hair, and i can already see a lot of new hairs coming in at different lengths and i am afraid that this treament will make me lose hair.

I had a corticosteroid foam treatment. It burned my scalp and made me itch. I was terrified that scratching or rubbing would make the fragile hairs fall out. I don't think that itching would CAUSE the hair to fall out. Just be careful not to rub or scratch too much since the friction might loosen new thin hairs. I took itching in my treatment as a good sign - it was irritating my skin but at the same time it was fighting off what made me lose my hair. I hope the itching is nothing too significant. Good luck to you!
