Itchy Eyelashes?

After losing my eyelashes in August 2009, they have started to come in, very sparse and blonde, not enough to put mascara on (I tried!)

The problem is, they are very itchy! My eye doctor just told me to buy an OTC product called SteriLid. I bought it at Walgreens for $20. It is kind of like a shampoo for your eyelashes. Tonight is the first time I'm using it. She said it should help a lot with the itching.

Has anybody else ever taken this, or experienced itchy eyelashes associated with regrowth?

I lost my eyelashes about 15 years ago. Sometimes I get a few that come in only to fall out again. It does itch at times and every once in a while I get a little bump like an ingrown hair bump - very irritating. So I always associate the itching with growth - that way it doesn't bother me as much and I can only hope.

Petra is right. I'm slowly getting my lashes back and they do itch. I just very carefully scratch. ;)
