Itchy itchy itchy!!
Does anyone else have itchy head during periods of hair loss? I'm trying head and shoulders to help with the itch but its not working well..... Thoughts? Experiences?

My head gets really itchy also. It drives me insane! I started uses the curtage system and it helps ALOT! I use it everyday and it has reduced the itchy drastically. Its all natural and includes a root stimulator which seems to slowly be helping my hair grow back. I have had diffused shedding for almost a year and just recently found a bald spot. The whole system is kind of expensive but for like $80 you get 5 different products. It makes the strands feel thicker too! I have also noticed it gets more itchy when I am stressed or have anxiety so I try to consciously make myself relax and not obsess over the itch. Good luck to you!

My head used to itch a lot and I have had a bad case of dandruff. :/ Saw a dermatologist last month for my AA and she gave me this salicylic acid shampoo which I use 1-2 times a week, in between my regular herbal shampoo use. Dandruff and itch aren't as bad compared to before. I think H & S maybe too harsh for heads like ours. It might be worth your time and some money to consult a derma too or buy a specially formulated hair cleanser. :-)
