It's Gone :/

So today marks the day that I no longer have a right eyebrow. I went in this morning and had the few hairs that were left waxed off. I have been wearing my headcovers.com eyebrow all day and things are looking good. I'm a little nervous about taking it off but I am happy that in the end it seems to be working out. I actually think this eyebrow looks better than the real eyebrow that the woman waxed to look as much like the fake as possible!

I'll keep you posted on how this experience unfolds. Thanks to all the wonderful alopecia friends who helped me make this decision. I only hope that I can help you as much as you helped me :)

Please let us know how it goes! I've lost most of my right eyebrow (and now my left is going too) and I find that I have to draw them on at least twice a day since they wear off!

day two was great! easy application and nothing wearing off even when i made funny faces :) I don't know how dark your eyebrows are but mine are almost black so i did put powder on them and it worked out perfectly. PS I have slept in them the last two nights just to try it out and they stayed on!

How long are the eyebrows supposed to be good for? Can you manipulate them easily (ie: if I screwed up putting one on can i take it off and put it back on?) I went to the website and at $45 a pop- they're not as cheap as false eyelashes so I want to make sure they're a good buy!

From what I have heard from people on the site they can last 2-4 months with daily wear. They are very easy to manipulate and they need very little glue to stay on. I didn't buy the adhesive remover wash from them - I used a Q-tip and water but I didn't find that there was a need to scrub at it. You don't use a lot of glue so I imagine that if you use a Q-tip after or before each wear you would be fine.
