Well it has been a long time since ive been in AlopeciaWorld. The last time ive been on was like 3 years ago. During those 3 years i have been going to school, I joined the Navy Reserves, working at Walt Disney World, and been in so many relationships. As a man with Alopecia, it is so hard to find a date the more you are busy and getting older (i am just 24). See the problem i am having is that I am bald and 5'2. Not that many girls like a short man and not that many girls like a bald guy. It has been really hard. I am so grateful to have eyebrows, from my visit to the dermatologist, but at the end women just want men with hair. It is really hard. I do hope that I can find someone who is willing to stay and be happy. I am confident.

BUT BUT BUT BUT Women on alopecia world thinks being a bald man is ok!!!! Except when its the man they want to date than he better have a full head of hair.
Come on people, there must be more to you than just your hair and height...
Even if there is, it doesn't matter. Women generally only care about appearance before anything else.
You're probably right although it might not be ALL of them. Some of them have to not be that shallow. Cheer up, you may find a woman who cares more about you than your condition one day.
Great post Nammer and comforting to know. I have twin sons with alopecia and right now they are 11 and of course not dating :) one has AA and one with AU. I personally have dated men with or without hair. It really never mattered to me. Of course, I think my boys will have a harder time as teens but I am hoping it will be easier when they reach over 20 years old, as there a lot of men that are bald. My little brother who doesn't have AA is 29 and getting married to a wonderful girl Sept 4th and he's bald by choice. Keep your head up Richard and believe in yourself. You are very handsome, which is why I stopped to even look at the post :)
Richard, you are a good looking man. Give it some time and focus on being and meeting a woman of substance, then hair does not matter. I see it over and over again of people on Alopecia World believing that a relationship is not in their cards and a few years later I see the dating or wedding photo's. I can guarantee it, that people with alopecia do date and do get married.
