Has anyone actually fully recovered from AU after this much time or is that just a pipe dream for me? ta

It's been 36years for me still no hair and I really don't even care any more... There isn't any treatment.

I haven't really been trying to recover. I have to laugh.  I googled AU because I often get confused as to whether I have that or totalis.  anyway...wikopedia said: "Alopecia universalis may be acute and short-lived or remain permanently. Regrowth is always a possibility, even for those with 100% hair loss over many years. However, it is not possible to predict when regrowth will occur"  It also said that the AU incident rate is of .001% (1 in 100,000) .......So I guess that means we are extra special :)
