Of course this would happen during what I call a "fallout" phase.... I am interviewing for an instructor position at a pretty huge riding program tomorrow. I cut my hair really short (kinda too short to look acceptable), but am about to the point where I should give up on the 'camo' powder and spray to cover it. several local people in the horse industry are aware of my "issue" (when I ride, helmet doesn't fit correctly without the wig, so off it goes). Right now with as cold as it is the wig is a welcome source of warmth, lol. What's hard is working with kids and avoiding an awkward moment- I HATE when people think you're sick, which is really my primary motivation for wearing wigs in the first place. And yes, I've had a horse or two yank a wig off, but luckily i was with friends and have the sense of humor that allowed me to 'roll with it'. This should be fun... but I'm still scared. Wish at some point this would get easier!

Hi all- interview went okay, since I pretty much buzzed my hair a month ago, I chickened out on the wig & dumped toppik on the big "hole in my head". It was less to deal with- I'll be there's an interim trainer starting in March- leaving me some time to cement my relationship with the new horse I'm riding now(:
