I got the news yesterday... I already knew as a great deal of my hair has fallen out. I had my 10 yr anniversary with my husband due to embarrassment of my obvious bald head. I am so depressed and nobody around me knows what to do with me. I am lost.

Hi

It is really normal to feel a little lost when you first realise what this diagnosis means.  It is like moving through a grieving period of your life and how long that takes is totally up to you.  There is no wrong or right way to work this through for yourself.

My advise is to become very proactive with educating yourself about this condition and about things that can help you become you again.

There is a wealth of knowledge and support here.  Search through the posts and find the things that help.

You aren't alone with this and everyone here understands.
