Hi.

I have just ordered a gripper wig from a salon in Boston I had never been to before.  I have never had one of these types of wigs before either.   I have had a combination of HH or synthetic and use tape mainly.   I really needed a new one.  This is the most I have every spent on a wig so this is a big leap for me.  I like the woman that helped me out an she assured me how much better hair this would be and how much more secure and it will have a lace front hairline which is what I really wanted.  What is everyone's opinion?

I don't have experience of these wigs either but they are supposed to give you the freedom of going swimming in them and I am sure it will be very natural from what I have heard about them. Please do let us know what the advantages are of this wig over the regular type wigs. Good luck with your new hair.
I have one. I wouldn't swim in it. I believe you can swim in a freedom wig, but I'm not sure the Follea cap would hold up in chlorine well. It has a great fit and is lightweight. It looks totally natural on. I do like mine, but yes they are very expensive. Feel free to friend me if you want to chat.

thanks.   I am picking it up on Saturday.  I hope it is worth the money.   I will friend you to chat.

Hi

I'm sure you will enjoy your new wig.

I'm a Freedom lady and just wanted to reiterate what wise1 has said. Yes you can swim in a Freedom Wig.  Also the hair on a Freedom Wig is 100% unprocessed virgin human hair.  I met with the Follea Norwegian Reps last weekend and they explained to me that Follea hair is processed hair (no more than two shades...I'm not 100% sure what that means, so ask your Follea Rep).

Good luck with your new hair.

I should have done more investigation I guess because I didnt really know about either the Freedom Wigs or Follea.  but unless I get to the salon on Saturday and it is a disaster I think I am committed to this now.  But I will discuss the processed hair at the salon to understand what that means.

thanks

For me Freedom was not a viable choice, I (ironically) have too much bio hair left to get a good seal and I am not one to shave daily. I certainly cannot go without a wig as I have extensive loss so Follea was a good option after other wig caps I had gave me allergic reactions. Yes the hair is beautiful on a Freedom wig but hopefully you will enjoy the Follea gripper's hair. There are positive and negative aspects of any wig choice. Be happy and excited for your current choice :-). I think you will be pleased with it. One word of advice though, treat the hair gently while styling ( lower heat etc.)ask the salon the preferred brushes for it and preferred hair care products ( sulphate free shampoo etc.). Don't cut too much the first time at the salon, take it home and fuss around a bit with it. Let us know how it goes.

HelloTrying to cope

I absolutely agree with Wise1. A freedom wig is designed for those with no hair or those willing to take away the hair they have, different wigs suit different people. I'm sure your new hair will work very well for you.:)

Thanks for the advice.   I will post results soon.   Going to the salon this morning!

Looking forward to hearing how it is going and what you think if it!

If you trust the online stuff so then I can suggest you go EOZY.COM above look. Where I often buy some wigs. Because I like to wear a wig.

I considered purchasing one, but between the cost & having to special order for the length I wanted- I opted out.  I have been wearing full lace units instead.

How are you liking it?

Lorie,

Do you purchase the full lace online?
