Hi.

I have just ordered a gripper wig from a salon in Boston I had never been to before.  I have never had one of these types of wigs before either.   I have had a combination of HH or synthetic and use tape mainly.   I really needed a new one.  This is the most I have every spent on a wig so this is a big leap for me.  I like the woman that helped me out an she assured me how much better hair this would be and how much more secure and it will have a lace front hairline which is what I really wanted.  What is everyone's opinion?

I ordered the full lace unit from my beautician.

Well I did buy one and have worn it for a few days now.  so far so good.  it is secure so I dont feel myself adjusting my wig all day or running to add tape.    I like the feel of the hair.  the only thing I am a bit disappointed in is the color.  I was wearing a HH that was red.  the gripper is more light brown with the very slightest hint of red.  when I got it I thought I would like it better but even my husband said he misses the red.  I want to call the salon and see if they can put a rinse or something in it.   I dont want to ruin it though.

I have to get familiar with styling this one.  Since I paid so much I am a bit afraid to use my curling iron  yet.  But I do think this is more natural.   But I am also going to look into a full lace.  I know you really need to have more than one wig.   but I dont switch them out and make it apparent.  I dont want anyone to know I wear a wig.

Don't be afraid to curl it! Just be more gentle in brushing styling. I hear you re: colour. I couldn't find my exact match. However in time I've grown used to it. I find mine is too red LOL and the nex colour was too dark. But comfort is awesome and we had a huge windstorm the other day and it didn't even shift. I'm sure you look fabulous :-)
Best of luck.
PS let me know what salon says about a rinse

Hi

I'm pleased your choice is working for you. :)

Re: colouring.  I think that it is very important that you go to a Follea hairdresser.  As the hair is processed it will need to be carefully done and you will need to be careful that the colour does not get on the net and wefted base.

Good luck with everything.
