Kindred spirits
Hello, everyone. I live in a small town in the middle of nowhere & I dont see anyone with hair loss issues, let alone know anyone who has to deal with this crippling problem. Perhaps crippling is the wrong word to use but that is what it feels like to me. I don't like going out anymore. The only reason I brave the stares and the judgement in people's eyes is because I have to go outside in order to get to my place of employment. I've lost any passion I previously had in the things I used to do. Every day is a battle for me. I suppose Im here because i feel so isolated from the people around me. I suppose I just need some support. I apologise for my whiny tone but today has not been a good day :)

Hairloss is life altering and I believe everyone here will understand the isolating effect that occurs.
I think the best thing to do is work out what you want to do. In most cases hairloss is uncurable (I'm not sure which condition you have). So, knowing there is little to be done around keeping or controlling your hair, you need to move on to what you can make changes around. Find the things you love. Work out what you want to do around presenting yourself to the world...whether that be without a headcovering of some sort or with a head covering of some description (Hat, Scarf, wig...etc). Work out what skills you need to learn to manage your hairloss to a place where life is as it should be and you are confident and yourself once again.
Take baby steps...Rome wasn't built in a day, but do work on these things and find your way.
