Sarah hi, I love lacefronts. I wear jon renau synthetic lacefronts : Julia, Heidi and Ignite. I do have some hair left but the wigs are comfy and my type of hair loss is at the front where the lacefront is and I gave no problem at all with it touching my skin. I sometimes wear my wigs for 15 hours at a time and have no discomfort. I wear synthetics because I hate having to style human hair but the lacefront behaves the same. I love how natural they look even close up. I can't think that you would have any problem with them. Have a look at www.wigsupport.com the ladies on there are expert wig wearers and can best advise you. Enjoy your new hair x
Hi Sarah, choosing a lace front wig is definitely the way to go! Let me suggest that you ask very through questions about what type of lace your piece would be made with and where it's made. Depending on what type of hair you are looking for, you should also ask the orgin and the longevity of the piece itself. I would love to answer any other questions you may have!!!

I am new to wigs and my lace front has taken a while to get used to. I have a Raquel Welch signature collection and the lace is really a plastic mesh that rubs my forehead. It's fitting much much better now but made some marks the first couple days. I think my widows peak doesn't help because I have to pull it down a bit to cover that. Definitely try them on first. I have gotten tons of compliments though and people are shocked it's a wig. Some people who don't know, don't know.

I love lace front wigs! The kind of lace used is important and the color of lace to match your skin.  Some lace is very itchy I read French lace is the best. Some lace if you trim it yourself it can start to fray so I read to use pinking shears (not sure about the spelling). You can get them at a fabric store, sally's maybe even walmart.

O Zone Lace Wigs is a great place to start. Check them out here. http://www.lhboutique.com/A-Plus-O-Zone-Synthetic-Lace-Front-Wigs-s...
