I am not sure how to explain this but here goes: I have a Jon Renau Angie Smart Lace front wig. It is starting to fray a bit at the top and seems to be digging into my forehead. Ouch. I can't seem to relieve this irritation. I feels a little like a screen on a window. Anyone have any solution before I go crazy??? Thanks so much for any input.

Hello

I'm sorry this is happening to you. Do you think you could send it back to Jon Renau to ask them what the problems are. The people you bought it from should be able to help. It may need to be repaired, do you think?

I Hate it too ! I use a little liquid band-aid on my forehead before putting the wig on. Helps some still can't stand how the lace on that brand feels.

Do you have a Jon Renau HH wig? I am so disappointed with mine. Along with the lace front being so irritating, it is coarse, dry and stiff less than a week after I give it a good conditioning. Just looking for some advice.

I find that taping and especially glueing the front edge really help with the irritation. I can't stand any lace fronts unless I do this. I set duo tac tape about a 1/2 inch back from the hairline (or even in the monofilament part), and sometimes I use Ghost Bond at the front edge as well.

I most often remove my pieces daily. The glue wipes off easily with a mirror slide, and pulls right off.
