Hi! I'm a new alopecian, completely diffuse hair, lost it in 3 months. Devistating for me but am trying to come to terms with it. I need help choosing a wig. I really love the gripper and the way the hair looks but I like the security of a lace front. However, I have acne all over the back of my head (new) and I'm not sure if having a wig that I can't take off will be a good thing. What if I have a break out? How will I treat it with a wig that's glued to my head for 5 weeks?

Also I'm looking for a place to buy a wig. I live in California and have talked to peggy knight but many people aren't happy with them. Can anyone help or give advice? Thanks!

Sorry it's taken so long to reply, @ Cathy my wig is for medical loss so it fits all around your head. It's lace front and I think it's hand tied but looks horrible if you look closely and yes it has PU coating to grip. I tape it to the temples to my ears only. I don't tape the back because it wont stick. I've been wearing it for over a month and I'm really used to it but it's poorly made. The place I bought it from really overcharged me for it. I suggest getting a custom wig because this one bunches up in the back. The girl who sold it to me said "It's room for regrowth" which is certainly not true. She just wanted to sell me a wig. She never called or emailed once to see if I was happy with it. Horrible customer service in my opinion.

I have learned A LOT from this experience though. I know exactly what I want next time. I will get a custom made gripper type wig with a lace front that extends more than just and inch or so. It will be European straight hair ONLY not Rami hair which is dry and coarse. This wig is wavy and when I straighten it, it looks fake. I will have to get the sides ventilated from a wig specialist I know here in San Diego because you can see that hair is already missing. I liked the follea gripper but I'm not crazy about Peggy Knight, her reviews are horrible and the rep wanted me to buy 2 wigs! I was so angry at her, how could I possibly pay $5000 for something I'm not going to see? Plus the gripper cuts across above the ear so you can't tie your hair back and I used to wear my hair up all the time because of exercise and my job. Now I only wear the sides up, can't do it all because the back won't stick to my head. But Follea hair is the best in my opinion.

I wish I could get a new one now but I can't afford to pay $1500 again. They are just so expensive.

Hi,if you would like to order a wig from China, you can send me PM! Add me!
