I was diagnosed with this unfortunate condition some 6 years ago and have gradually lost about 60% of my hair beginning with receding frontal hair line and then diffuse hair loss all over my head.  I have curly hair which has hidden the damage for some considerable time but lately I have been forced to research hair pieces/wigs etc.  I have found the process really dispiriting as the discomfort of a sore inflamed scalp is worsened by even trying on a wig.  Finding a good hairpiece has also been hard and I am wondering if there is anyone out there who has the same condition and how they are managing. I was diagnosed following biopsy at St. Thomas' hospital in London.
