I don't know whether to be happy or frustrated! Since starting on iron, starting a healthy immune system diet, and doing some holistic treatments, I've noticed some hair growing in. On my scalp, there is some peach fuzz. On one part of my scalp, there's a lot of peach fuzz. My eyelashes and eyebrows are growing in, but not enough to put mascara on my eyelashes. I even have some light hair on my face, which I would rather do without! Today I was in the car and noticed some stray, fine hairs on my kneecaps (lovely).

Is this a sign that my body is slowly warming up to the idea that hair is not the enemy? is it testing the waters to see if it's okay to grow back?

I first had alopecia areata about 3 years ago which progressed to alopecia universalis, so I've only been dealing with alopecia for a few years. These are my first signs of hair since being diagnosed.

Would love some feedback on your experiences. Thanks!

I guess so. Hope for the best, continue with your lifestyle, and enjoy the little hairs you have for now.
