I learned a lot with my Alopecia Areta. It was a struggle for me at first and learned to live with it.I was 10 at the time diagnosed with it.Hair fell off in large clumps and my parents noticed.Took me in to have it checked out. When I was told this,I was in the dumps thinking I was an ugly duckling at first.I learned that I was not this.Getting my first wig cheered me up.My parents taught me not to let this hold me back.It took time as well.Age 16 to 18,was in Germany as exchange student.Luckily my host parents knew someone with my same condition, their daughter whom I am best friends with to this day.Helped me more and our bond became stronger.I learned a lot from it.Now 44,I live a good life now
