You may or may not. If you really know who you are inside, then concentrate on that more. You have a lot of people here to talk to, and that 20/20 show from last night (on the blogs here) showing the beauty queen with alopecia may let you know that even a bald gal can rise to great beauty heights. Go to www.naaf.org and see if there is a support group or phone support person living near you, too. Most of us here who have had hair loss a long time have started to ignor it and go on doing the things we enjoy. We also have found out who our REAL friends are! Go read all the other comments, stories and advice on this site...you will learn a lot!
Hi linda I also have one patch that suddenly appeared overnight . I really know what you are going through , I too have such long hair and would be devestated to lose it all. I've gone for blood work but everything checked out fine . I'm going to take some off the lenth cause it feels like it is weighing itself down . I'm so stressed italmost makes me sick to my stomach . I don't have any answers for you , but feel free to message me if you would like to get things off your mind . I wish the best for you take care
