Hi All,
I'm looking to keep this post as positive and optimistic as possible so if you have any thoughts or positive feedback, I would love to hear it!
Has anyone had success healing any autoimmune condition, AA or another one from a specific mental approach? The more I look into it, the mind and body are VERY much connected in the case of autoimmune disease. Many (not all) of our cases of AA first started after a stressful event. If we are hard on ourself (too much pressure, etc.) we are attacking ourselves and that causes the immune system to continue to attack our hair. I have read certain posts of people meditating and have specific mindsets that have helped with the healing process, I would love to hear more about what has worked for you or someone you know.
I have cleaned up my diet completely (paleo) cut out gluten, soy, dairy, grains and I feel amazing! I go to the gym 4-5x a week and I'm honestly in the best shape of my life. Diet plays a huge role in AI diseases, alopecia is no exception but it is not the underlying cause for everyone. I feel like I could use some help with the mental approach of healing. I wish it would happen a lot sooner and sometimes I think too much which hurts the healing process. I think we need to be easy on ourselves and accept it for what it is now but believe then it will all work out in the end.
If you have any positive thoughts about the healing process/body-mind connection or any mantras you tell yourself that helps you stay positive, I would love to hear them. Thanks for your time and reading this. Best of luck to you.

Hi
Positive thinking is a wonderful way to work your way through life and I have meet many dealing with alopecia who have the most wonderful attitudes to life and the stresses that come with living well. In most cases their hair is not the indicator of how well they are doing. Hair's coming or going doesn't equate to their happiness. I don't know if positive thought and action can help your hair come back but I do know it will help you. So, good luck with everything.
