Metal in Wig? Having an MRI

Has anyone ever had an MRI wearing a wig? I have to have one and never thought about it, and was doing some research and alot of MRI sites say wigs have to be removed because they have metal? Where would metal be in a wig??? Any insights would be great...

the only metal i wld know of wld b in the adjuster of the wig where u can make it fit the shape of ur head better.

This is a little late, but I've had many MRI's and always wear my wig. Some wigs do have metal so those you would need to take off but if not, you should be fine.
