I've been AA for about a year and a half now, and have been looking online for "cures" or remedies almost obsessively.
One of the things I've stumbled across was micro pigmentation, and I've ultimately decided against it. My reasoning is that the ink is going to fade over time, leaving you with a green-ish skull, and so you'll need touch ups every now and then. Another point to consider is how natural it is going to look. Sure, you won't be able to see it from a distance, but from a closer point of view I think it's quite easy to spot in some of the videos I've seen on youtube. Take the last statement with a pinch of salt however, as I'm probably a bit biased given that I know the guys have just had the procedures. Furthermore, with pharmaceuticals approaching a solution for us (Xeljanz, Baricitinib, hopefully we'll have stem-cell treatments within the next 10-years) I think the inked skull would be something I'd regret after getting my real hair back (please let it be).
If I didn't misread your post you are currently AU. If I were you I'd only consider micropigmentation for the eyebrows, but even there I have the same concerns as mentioned above. Real shitty disease, this, but what can you do. Best of luck with whatever you decide!
PS if you do decide to go through with it, do a TON of research, not only on the procedure but also on the various clinics offering it.
I looked into this procedure and decided not to do it as I thought it looked way to fake.
That said the image you posted looks so much better than anything I've seen...
