Hello, My 20 year old Daughter has just falling pregnant. When she was 11, she lost all her Blonde hair, but only from her head. She has been taking a multi Vitamin that helps healthy Hair growth and weather or not it helped we don't know, but her hair returned slowly, Brunette. She has since only suffered from patches which she is able to cover as her hair, now, is nice and long. But not very Thick.

She takes the Vitamin tablets as she thinks they help, like I said, who knows, maybe they do. But she read the fine print and it recommends that Pregnant Ladies should not take the Vitamin.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a Vitamin that she could safely take, When the patches appear, it doesn't seem to be to long before it is covered by little fine hairs.

Cheers

When my daughter got pregnant they put her on prenanatal pills..All her patches filled in from her pregnancy. Her hair was so long and pretty. After she had my granddaughter it came back and was worse than before.I was so sad.I thought it was going to stay but it did not.

I think once she stop taking the prenatal pills it made her hair fall out again.I wish they will find a cure for this. She is 24 now and have had aa since she was 16.

We just don't know do we? It's very unfair for them. Hope all is well with your Daughter and her Little one

It's safer if you avoid pills during pregnancy. The body passes through a different experience, and hormones change and overreact. During my pregnancy, I excluded my supplements and ate all I desired. I follow a community of experimented moms https://courses.mother.com/courses/how-to-raise-happy-children-the-d... that gave you valuable advice on raising a child in love and care. Young moms can do a quick course to learn the basics of taking care of a newborn. Also, I address questions on their website whenever I am in doubt, and moms can tell me their opinion and practice.

You're welcome! Besides prenatal vitamins, there are other ways to support hair health during pregnancy. A balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals, particularly those that promote hair growth like vitamin D, iron, and zinc, can be very beneficial. Hydration and stress management also play significant roles. Best of luck to your daughter!
