Nails

I know that pitting nails is a sign of AA, but my question is if improving nails means the disease is resolving. My daughters nails have significantly improved. Hair is getting white. I am praying that hair is coming.

I'm experiencing the same thing. Nails are going back to normal and I have white hair growing pretty much all over. But I am not sure if the nails have a relation to the hair. I'll have to check with my derm. I did once read that the nails were an indicator of the severity of the disease but I am not sure.

I wonder about this too. My nails which were very pitted when this began a year ago, are now totally clear and my hair is slowly filling in. Let us know if you find out there is a definite connection.
