Natural Treatments?
I want to know if anyone on here has found a natural treatment that has caused hair growth, I'm now on a prolonged regemin of Prednison and I don't like it. It worked the first time but my hair is still falling out rapidly and it's causing weigt gein (because losing my hair wasn't enough). So if anyone has anything I could try I would greatly appriciate the imput (oh and I'm a terrable speller so I appologize :))

If there were something safe and successful, the entire world would know.
Follow your own best interests when taking or continuing powerful medications.
Do your own due diligence on what's appropriate for treatment "trials" or not. Most doctor are well trained and appropriately conservative. But you can always find a doctor who reads into an alopecians story such frustration that he/she prescribes very powerful drugs to "give the patient something to try."
No one is looking out for your best interests as well as you do for yourself if you're well informed.

I'm new here..but to add my .02, I've had pretty decent results with a number of "natural" treatments, from Elsom Research. Not cheap though. I also use shampoos such as Lamas Beauty's Chinese herbal shampoo.
There's another product I'll be trying out soon that I'll post about eventually..that I've been posting about in other forums. If it'll actually do anything is any-body's guess.
Strange I've never heard about this place before- very different from what I'm used to!
