Hello,
I am a 35 male. Recently had a pretty bad cold a couple weeks on top of a small injury on my hip.
Cold is gone. Hip is better..
BUT - now have a quarter sized bald spot above my right ear. Its getting larger as the days progress.
Found a decent that can hid the spot while im at work and out of the house. This really helps cope and stop positive with the hair loss - for me at the moment.
I dont want it to spreading.
I have not seen a doctor yet. Should i? Primary care? Dermatologist??
Any thoughts are welcome.
Thanks all!

Thanks for the reply LC!
Not sure i can see the picture though.
What did the dermatologist suggest? Im not really into creams and shots..but I am open.
It has been 60 days since a friend found my quarter size spot in back of head. took a month to get a dermatologist and she gave me the topical steroids for head which I really only did for 2.5 weeks since the skin was thinning. At the same time, I went on my strict anti-inflammatory diet - vegan, gluten free, no sugar. After four weeks I went back. Now I had 8 spots all a quarter or silver dollar sized. We found a couple spots had tiny little hair growing. I did go for the shots - wasn't going to but at the moment I said yes. So let's see. I have battled with stress and know that I need to run/walk/exercise regularly to keep stress under control. I have neuralgia from shingles (14 years now), I am hopeful but mentally try to prepare for either way this goes. I can say my diet has made me feel much better and more attentive to foods and better care of my body overall - oh and I lost 5 lbs so that was nice. Since this has happened and I shared with others, I find it is not as unique as I thought. And I have heard of full recovery as well as some women who embrace wig and non wig days. this site is full of beautiful people who are supportive and inspirational. Best wishes to you
