Good for you Savannah. I honestly believe the more open we are about our condition the better we will feel - meaning, more comfortable, less worried about what people think. As humans, we all want to be accepted but also know that no matter who you are or what you look like, there is always someone that has somethig to say, or doesn't like the way you look, or whatever. We have got to gain strength, to be confident with who we are. Sometimes I just enjoy going to a public place and people watch. We are all different, some choose to be, some can't help it. We have got to love ourselves and get to that place of being ok with having alopecia. The Lord knows, we have no control over it, don't let it have control over you/any of us. best wishes to you. sounds like you're on the right track.
