Hello everyone! I don't have alopecia, but I do have hair loss. I was anorexic as a teen and lost a lot of hair, and it never grew back, even 6 years later. Its continued to thin after the births of my two children. I'm 26 now, and my thin hair is a source of great distress... so I have invested in a couple of really good wigs (and a few fun, wear around the house ones)... My question is this... how secure are wigs when you just use the adjustable strap? Will I need extra security? I've only worn one other wig and it was quite insecure, but it may have been made large. I'll be watching this post closely for any answers you can give me... Thanks.

Thanks Aimee for your input... I ordered average wigs and I'm surprised by how small I have to make them to fit! Does this mean that I should have ordered petite? They fit when I secure them really tightly and use a "Sure Grip Band" however. I appreciate your input though... how do you secure your wig Aimee, if not using the adjustable strap? I use a "sure grip" band. It stays put, but I do worry, like, "what if someone lifts my wig off my head?" lol, probably new wig user fear.
