Hello everyone!!! First of all please excuse my English (it's not may native language). I'm new here and I'm looking forward to meeting new people that share my problems. I'm 29(female) and I've always had fine (baby like) hair(inherited from my mom). We all know that fine hair is often very oily and flat and of course I have that condition too. But my real problem is that my scalp is always shiny..even after I've just washed it..when I part my hair the shine is driving me crazy.... I've read that shiny spots are more likely to loose hair and unlikely to get it back...but I'm full of baby hair event though I've noticed(especially on the front side) that my hair is thinner and the scalp is more visible. In addition to that my skin has the same problem..especially my forehead and nose..always shiny and the really grose. Is there someone that shares my problems? Do you think that I will lose my hair or that I have some kind of alopecia? Pleaseee help!!! Here are some photos to have a better idea of what I'm talking about

well no...but i've noticed that especially in the front is thinner..and the scalp is always shiny even after I had just washed it..and I can't tell if the shine it's beacuse the scalp is dry or oily..I've read somewhere that you can have dry scalp but oily hair..i don't have acnee but my forehead nose and chin are soo oily....i've just made my blood test..I'm healthy(the lymphocites a bit higher with neutrofiles a bit low-but the doctor said that maybe I had a cold or something)
I dont know if it's relevant but I've been using Yasmine for many years and a few months ago I stopped using them
Your hair is thin and there are some spots were the scalp shines trough. It is possible that you have androgenic alopecia (genetic based hair loss). Do you have anyone in you close family (father, brothers) who were balding already at young age? It would explain why you always had thinner hair.
No..my mum has thin hair like me(but without the shiny spots) and my father has very thick hair..i don't have brothers and sisters..one of my uncle's is bold(on my father side) and one of my grandpas was almost bold but when he was already old
Perhaps you do not have much problems with androgenic hair loss then. If your hair is not getting worse there would be no reason to worry about it I believe.
Perhaps you should try some supplements to get thicker hair. I always recommend biotin, zinc and selenium. Perhaps you will get some better growth with these.
thanks so much for your response. I can't seem to find out why is my scalp so shiny even after i have just washed it. I currently use a aminexil shampoo(vichy) and i ve just finished my one month dercos neogenic treatment..also vichy...I think it's a good sign that I have baby hair all over but i m not sure that the treatment did that
