Does anyone else have scalp burning with hair loss? Even better question, has anyone found a way to treat it that works? I do not have depression and I'm not stressed. I came to terms with my hair loss almost immediately. So can't blame it on the stress of hair loss.

I have an itchy, painful, and sore scalp at time. My doctor said to use Vichy shampoo, and it helps. I leave the shampoo on for about 5 minutes before I rinse it off.  I found it in the beauty section of the drug store, not in the shampoo section.

yes it is called burning scalp syndrome.  Plaquenil really helps me.  I have sjogrens and plaquenil helped my eye and scalp pain.
