Pregnancy, breastfeeding & alopecia

Any woman notice a flare up after or during a pregnancy?  I have a 15 month old little dude and am wondering if the hormonal shift triggered the Ali in me?  I have also noticed the spots really seem to increase around the time of my period.  Anyone else notice this or it could be coincidence I guess.  In Chinese medicine the hair and the blood are closely linked so there's that... :)
