Hello everyone!

I have a quick question to ask all you lovely people.. I suffer with Alopecia and I have been trying for a baby for the last 6 months but sadly not getting any luck :-( . This this just me or as anyone else had difficulties conceiving with Alopecia?

Any help would be appreciated... Thanks!!

I had trouble as well.  Have you had your thyroid checked?  I had trouble getting pregnant and turned out my thyroid (also autoimmune) was low and vitamin D.  Also, I bought some ovulation predictors and realized I wasn't having sex at the right time.  I had one healthy baby and one late term miscarriage.  Best of luck!

I had troubles for 2 years and then saw a specialist.  We went thru my medical history but I left out my alopecia because I didn't think it would matter.  Geez, I was SO wrong.  It was apparently linked to my "antiphospholipid syndrome" which flared up at some point in my 20's.  I'm not super knowledgeable about it but the next round of IUI's, we were pregnant!  I also had to be on heprin injections twice a day, but it was totally worth it.  I have two beautiful children now.  :)  Let me know if you have any questions but I would definitely tell your doctor!

I am so sorry to hear that. I know how painful it might be. I've been struggling to get pregnant because of my Polycystic ovary syndrome, so I get it ideally.
The best advice that I can give is to consult with a doctor. Sometimes you never know what the real cause of trouble getting pregnant is. It might not be about ALopecia. It can be your diet, lifestyle, hormonal problems, and others. Hopefully, you will get God's blessing, and you, queen, will be able to have kids!
