Hi all. I have spend so much time trying to figure out where my AA came from and if my kids will have it. It is almost a year since my first spot appeared and going on 4months since i started to shave my head. I'm now a head shaver and headblader by heart. I read every once treatments trying to stop there Alopecia. I have not been sick since the first spot - is this normal? to every one trying to find a remedy for this. have any one found that something made there hair fall out quicker? I love my AA but would like to lose what is left. can any one help me on this. I know my head is not screwed on correctly. I prefer to be bald

Thanks

u head is screwed on perfectly!!!! it is annoying to have the spots when u want a nice clean look. as long as you are healthy, u wouldnt want to screw with that tho!!! as for not being sick - that is awesome. there are plenty of alopecians that do not have any other auto imm. dis., so congrats!!! there r plenty that do, but u dont have to show others. so enjoy, enjoy and oh yeah, enjoy!!!!!!!!!
Hey there I have had alopecia areata for about 2-3 months now and have one large patch of hair loss and a few other smaller patches on the side of my hair and on the back ...someone once told me garlic was very usefull for alopecia so i thought i would try it. I used garlic on the main effected area of my hair I already had a few small hairs growing there but they stoped growing so i decided to use the garlic and when i did the area i rubbed the garlic onto all the hair within that area fell out which was very weird it grew a tiny bit but stoped again and now i have just left it alone to see if it will grow naturally ...try out the garlic thing to let me know if it works only bad thing is it smells abit but apart from that theres no harm in trying
