I wear a shower cap if im taking a shower with my hair on....otherwise, i always take the hair off to wash it once a week. I would not recommend washing the wig while wearing it because you cant really wash your scalp that well and the damage that can be done to your hair piece.

Human hair wigs can last much longer than synthetic, but that's only if proper care is taken of them. Use shampoos and conditioners that are alcohol and parabens wig fault. Avoid anything containing ether sulfate or sodium lauryl sulfate. These chemicals Foaming Soap - but are also very drying and become brittle hair.

Have you tried wearing a shower cap? That's what I do. I shower with my wig on, but put a shower cap over that. It keeps it all dry.

Sometimes I do when I want to feel "normal." I even wash it on some times...I kinda like the feeling of shampooing, conditioning, shoot, even getting the tangles out is reassuring for me...like I used to, way back when.... It's my treat I suppose...is that goofy? I don't really care...lol I do it for me.

It is recommended to look after your wig very carefully, taking a shower with it on would be a mistake. Remember to use a specialist shampoo and conditioner designed only for the wig you are wearing. Obviously, quality wigs will be with you a long period of time, but it is important to look after it so you can use it and look incredible for a long time.

when shower,it should pay more attention to the wig,
best lace wig is for you!

I don't, but I take mine off frequently. Not because it's uncomfortable or anything.... but I'm cool sporting a turban or scarf sometimes.

One shouldn't take shower with wigs.
