I am taking my son to see a dermatologist tomorrow. Finally got an appt. my son is 7 and has lost eyelashes and patches of hair on the back of his head. He has also developed fingerprint sized red spots on forehead, back of ear, and back of neck. My father has AU. The pcp had his blood checked and all came back normal. Any advise on what to ask specifics of dr.? Other tests to run to be sure? Should he also see a rheumatologist? I am so stressed out and our pcp has dropped the ball on all parts. She has no sense of urgency. I had to be the one to demand blood work. I am changing pcp but I need to wait for this appt. to be over to avoid all the messy paperwork transition.
