Hello Chefpam,
I am a hairdresse,r that cuts ans styles human hair, hairpieces. Where do you live in KY? I was just in Louisville, KY, to do hairstyling. You can go to www.peggyknight.com to see a gallery of photos of real people wearing human hair pieces. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I have been cutting pieces since 1965. I would be glad to help you.

I have actually talked to you before Carmen during one of my many hairloss bouts. I live near Ashland, Ky. I understood that you can't wear the vacuum wigs if you have some hair?? I do need some help, LOL...
You are right if you want a vacuum piece you do need to shave. This is where the Gripper is the best of both worlds. You can shave only at the front temple areas and nape, if need be. The Gripper has the silicone in those areas and grip the head like the vacuum piece. I have to say for the money the Gripper has beautiful hair that looks like it is growing right out of your head. I have put a perm in the Gripper for a lady that had natural curl before she lost most of her hair. With the perm I could get the Gripper to look like the picture she sent of herself. Send me your email and I will send you a picture of Susan, a friend of mine wearing the 8inch Gripper.
I under stand that the vacuum pieces have gone up in price.
We have been traveling and I will be in St Louis until Sunday, 8/15 and then travel to Little Rock, AR form there to LA and then to MS before I get home to Gulf Breeze, FL.
