HI have AU for the last two years. Want to share my discoveries in causes of this condition. My hair loss started in spring 2016, very quickly I lost 90% of hair. In Summer 2017 I started to experience memory loss, my feet were getting suddenly not just numb but I was completely loosing the feeling of it. It all was happening suddenly, like during driving a car and couldn't remember how to do it, or suddenly couldn't feel my feet. I was extremely tired and achy all the time. I did in December 2017 all kinds of tests and doctor found rare mutation that making me unable to detox from heavy metals, also my gut bacteria is consistent of pathogens only what makes me unable to digest food and absorb nutrients and minerals or produce serotonin, my antibodies are to high and liver is sluggish. After three months of IVs with vitamins and detox solutions, injections of vitamins in the head I have small white hairs sprouting on the head and eyebrows.  I am starting PRP injections next week to speed up hair regeneration. Starting November 2017 I am gluten and dairy free, also no eggs and liming sea fish due to heavy metals.

I read many stories when people are feeling healthy and living active life with AU. I guess we all different. For me the reason for loosing hair was lack of everything in my body (vitamins, nutrients) and toxic load of heavy metals. I wish you all health!

Hi, could you please share what's the success of the treatments you've mentioned above been?

I've had AA for 10+ years, recently became totally bald, although  these fine white hair pretty much all over my head stayed - but they've been there on the bald spots earlier too.

I have Hashimoto's on top of it, and am trying the gluten free, milk free ideas, and supplements although I'm very skeptical of all these. Of course some "functional medicine specialists/dieticians" suggested that the heavy metals I have in my system (according to them and their tests, however valid they are.... ) and presumably "KPU" may be responsible for all this, but again, I maintain my level of skepticism.

Trying to find out other's experiences with such therapies and methods, as they seem so popular lately...

Would be very grateful for your reply!

Hi! Are you eating well enough? Does your body have enough calcium?

Hi, yes, I'm eating a pretty balanced diet and have never been on a diet to loose weight (cause there's no need).

I assume my calcium levels are normal, since I eat healthy and have no bone/parathyroid issues... Why do you ask about calcium?

Have a good day :)
