Sean, I'm not sure you are going to get the definitive answer you are looking for. Every person is different. Some regrow quickly and never have another episode. But my Alopecia cycles and I sometimes can't tell if my hair is coming or going. Since I was three years old I have been through periods of thick and thin or totally bald. The best thing I have learned is patience and acceptance. And I do not set myself up for disappointment with unrealistic expectations. I certainly hope your hair comes back in with all of its thickness as before and that you never have another period of hair loss. I absolutely know and believe that is possible. But no one will be able to tell you if or when that will happen. Be patient and optimistic!
Thank you Sarah i needed that... but when i look at the spots they're all covered but just a lil thinner than the rest of my hair
Got the same thing, just don't know if everything will grow back, and if it does when it will grow back.
Sadly there is no real answer for this question.. just wait and see
ok lionel thank you so when people usually have regrowth it takes a while to get thicker???..... if it does get thicker im just so curious because i have been goin through this almost 7 months with 3 treatment sessions with the shots i am just really curious about this hair situation!!!!
I have some regrowth as well. In Kingsleys book on hair, he says it takes atleast 2 months to notice any change in the hair, so I presume that would be regrowth as well. The average regrowth is a little less then an inch per month. My new hair is definately not growing that fast.

We also need to take into account the 'normal' cycle of the hair.

You may wish to do some research into different remedies for hair regrowth and vitamins, as some have a noticeable affect on the speed new hair grows.
