Hello, I am a student currently studying Rehabilitation Psychology (Masters - MSc). I am conducting research on the experiences, quality of life and body image perceptions of females before, during and after their diagnosis with breast cancer and alopecia. I am seeking to understand what significant experiences occur within this population group, how this affected their quality of life, how this affected their body image and how they coped with their experiences. This topic is important as there is a gap of research focusing on the quality of life and body image of those with breast cancer and alopecia. Plus there is a gap of research investigating this in an in depth manner.
