I got alopecia a few years back in my preteens, right at the peak of puberty, and its never quite recovered even with the creams and the shots.

I was wondering-- would SAT proctors allow me to wear a hat while taking the test? Wigs are much too troublesome and sometimes itch; it would distract me from the actual exam.

I'm kinda worried about this and slightly embarrassed because I could end up having to show the proctor my semi-bald head to prove that I'm not using the hat or anything to cheat and being a teenager I'm just not really ready for that I guess.

Any words of encouragement? Or has anyone gone through with the experience themselves? How was it like (if you did)?

I went with same kind of stuff during university.
I was loosing my hair and became AU. I did a special request to the university to allow me to keep my hat during exam. I had a paper with me that I had to show before the exam starts just to make sure...
