Scalp turning brown where hair loss occured

Has anyone else experienced this where the scalp turns brown where the hair loss occured.  It kinda looks like a real light birthmark.  The dermatologist seemed a little puzzled by it as well and the fact that her hairloss was not a perfect circle.

According to me, you need to consult hair specialist who can help you in a better way.

Saw another doc yesterday. Said it us normal that its just tanning already.
