Hi Everyone,

My name is Scott Weitman and I am a high school student at Yorktown High School in New York. I was diagnosed with alopecia areata just before my 4th birthday.  Now 16 years old, I have had alopecia areata, totalis and universalis.  Dealing with alopecia since such a young age has motivated me to make a difference by gaining  enough insight into the challenges people face just like me and all of you.  I am a Science Research student at my high school and I have created an anonymous, online survey to explore the challenges in living with an autoimmune disease as well as successful strategies used to cope effectively. I am hoping to gain enough insight that I can share my findings with people around the country for how to successfully deal with living with an autoimmune disease like alopecia.

Please take the time to participate in my survey and share my survey with as many people as you can who are dealing with an autoimmune disease.

Thank you in advance for your time and support.

Sincerely,

Scott Weitman
