I was thinking about this study because of the association of Rheumatoid Arthritis and Alopecia Areata. There are a couple of studies that suggest gluten-free diet might be helpful for RA people. Whether this diet would help people with AA or not is not the purpose of the study.

Anyway, here is the title and link.

Gluten-free vegan diet induces decreased LDL and oxidized LDL levels and raised atheroprotective natural antibodies against phosphorylcholine in patients with rheumatoid arthritis: a randomized study

Just to be clear on where I stand on the gluten no gluten debat, I do have a bias against gluten and grains.
