Hi guys!

I'm new here and I want to share my story with you. I started to become bald 8-9 years ago or I just say I become bald, becouse I lost most of my body's hair in a few weeks. I tried many treatments, but everything was useless. However, 3 years ago during summer 90% my hair on the head suprisingly regrowth.

I thought that it was end of my baldness, but I was wrong. :( Now I'm 20years old and every autumn and winter my hair starts to fall out, and it ends in only spring or summer and then regrows.

By the way, my scalp is very itchy in cold season, especially when I'm wearing a hat or eating spicy food.

Has anyone suffered anything simmilar?!?

P.s. Sorry for my English I'm not a native speaker, and pm me if anyone want to chat with me ;)

Hi

I have met and know of many people that have similar stories as you have.  I seems obvious to me that there is some sort of trigger that is causing the seasonal loss and regrowth....but like ususal nobody knows what this is.  If we could work out the trigger I believe it would go a long way to being able to have a little more control over this condition.

I believe what wise1 has said is very valid and may be well worth investigating.

Good luck with everything.

I'm so happy to see your post! I got my first spot at age 42 in January 2012. RAN to the dermatologist, got steroid injections, started to grow back and then in Jan 2013 it started again but this time much worse. I had 10 spots all over my head. Treated them again with injections, hair started to regrow and now this past month I found 4 new spots.

I do great in spring and summer and I'm a sun freak! I love to lay by my pool any free chance I get all summer long. I am still baffled as to what triggered my AA and why I get flare ups in Fall and Winter. I don't have allergies, I'm not sick or run down. I have gotten flu shots every year in Nov/Dec since I was 19 and thought maybe that had something to do with it, but my Dr says no.

I'm baffled!

Thank you ,guys! I will try to add some additional vitamin D to my diet and I hope that will make a positive effect :/
