I have a suggestion that has really worked for me. I hope to hear feedback and suggestions. I wear double sided tape along my hair line from ear to ear to secure my wig. I purchase it from Hairdirect.com, Red 1"x36 Yard Tape Roll for $17- $18 ....I have been going through a lot of different styles of wigs and even glued on weave and this is the most natural looking and I can even run my fingiers through my hair without worry about my wig ever shifting .....I hope I help someone ...

Hey Marilyn...what kind of wig do you use the tape on now that is the most natural look. I am looking for something natural looking at the hairline...I never thought of the tape on my wigs...they always seem to shift if I wear them any length of time, they ride up in the back, and then I look more like I am wearing a wig. Do tell...thanks...I used to live in Va Beach..."va beach" as I would call it....lived off Indian River Rd..on Oak Knoll Lane, and also lived at an apt. complex called Chanticleer ...I used to love Va. Beach...so pretty there!!
i have a lace front wig and it is very thick. Also i hate the fact that i always have to wear my hair down or you can see the lines. Are there any wigs out there that dont have such defined lines or am i totally dreaming? hahaha
Lucky you, Stacey, you have dark hair...so many more choices that are inexpensive for dark haired women...I have very light blonde hair, and I have no choice but to search..most wigmakers seem to have a funny idea of what color blonde hair really is. They have mostly ash toned colors, or way too dark shades. Just not my color. I love the Bev Johnson styles, and every time I click on one, the only shades are dark. Too bad for me, lucky for you!! The two sided tape...is that made for wigs tape, or the two sided tape you can buy for fabrics? I would imagine for wigs only, but just curious. Thanks for your reply.
Hey Stacy...you have so many wigs!! Envy Envy...I love your pics..you have one picture wearing a red jacket, black top underneath...that wig is sorta a blonde-ish shade, kinda sorta...which one is that and what color?? You look so great !!! Do you have fun and change up your look all of the time? It seems that you do and can do it very well. You go gurl.
another good place to buy wigs is wigs.com..there are lots of choices...I like Revlon, Raquel Welch and Beverly Johnson also and Wigs.com com sells all of those brands...pretty reasonable prices too.
Well if you ever decide to sell some of your wigs Stacey...look me up since we are neighbors =-)
what kind of wigs do you wear-do you have to shave your head-I have front hairline hair
Marilyn, I was in a shop yesterday, and the lace front wigs by Bev Johnson are sooo pretty. Of course, dark colors, dark lace... http://www.voguewigs.com/hayden-beverly-johnson-lace-front-wig.html Check out Hayden, this was one of my favorites that I saw OK, I see FS 1B 30...that is a nice color, don't know if it would work on me. The hair feels so real. You get one, girlfriend...
Hi Marilyn, I also wear wigs and use the double sided tape. I think it works really well.
