Hello all! First I would like to say that I have been reading this website for a while and has provided me with support knowing I'm not alone. I started to lose my hair exactly one year ago. Within 3 months I lost 100% of the hair on my head. Few months later I lost my beard and within the last month I have lost one eyebrow and some eyelashes. I have not actually been diagnosed with AA as I have not seen a dermatologist yet (no insurance). I have gone through quite a bit of testing with doctor (urgent care) but they found nothing wrong. I now have fairly good growth on the top of my head. Only parts that are very slow are the back and sides of my head and my beard. The question I have is.. Right before I experience hair loss I have noticed that I get ONE single red bump. Does not itch, hurt, burn.. nothing. Nothing gross comes out of it or anything like that. Just looks like a single pimple. However, I have noticed that it is a precursor to hair loss for me. I have read hundreds of testimonies, recovery stories, symptoms, etc. and have found NO mention of a single red bump followed by hair loss. Was wondering if anybody here has noticed this or could possibly provide some information on what it could be.

Thank you all for providing support here! This disease is a pain in the butt and so difficult to control.
