I recently had a final scalp micropigmentation treatment, and I am extremely happy with the results. I am surprised more people aren't talking about this option. I have had universalis since 2010, and have struggled with accepting my new appearance. When I started seeing advertisements for SMP I was concerned that it might not look natural, and I could be making myself look even worse. I thought their photos could have been altered and maybe the horror stories were more common than the successes. Then I saw the work in person and wanted to go for it. There have been so many instances since then (with family, coworkers, friends, and even my doctor) when people have thought my real hair was growing back! Every time I meet someone else with alopecia I can't wait to tell them I have universalis, and this isn't real hair, it's SMP.

Hi all I have decided to also go down the smp route,I go in for my first treatment on Monday.I am having the procedure carried out by Vinci in their Glasgow clinic,as I am totally bald the cost is £3000 but hopefully it is money well spent.I will of course keep everyone informed of the result.
Hi all, well I went into Vinci for my first treatment on Monday. The session began at 10.30am and with 2 small breaks of about 20mins the treatment continued until 16.30.The process wasn't painful for first few hours although my scalp was beginning to feel a bit tender towards the end of session.I was not expecting much on the first treatment but I have to say I am very happy indeed and can't wait to see what it looks like after 3rd treatment,I will keep you all informed of my progress.ps I have agreed to do a small video for Vinci which will show you the end result, there should be before and after photos.
all the best man.

Thanks for sharing!

Where did you have your procedure done?

I'm thinking of a slightly lighter shade for me because of my age of 55.
